Veintiuna personas han muerto en los dieciséis accidentes de tráfico mortales ocurridos en las carreteras españolas durante el pasado fin de semana.
Trece de los muertos se han producido en accidentes ocurridos en Andalucía, según ha informado hoy la Dirección General de Tráfico (DGT).
En los siniestros ocurridos entre las 15:00 horas del pasado viernes y las 24:00 horas de ayer, domingo, otras doce personas han resultado heridas graves y diecisiete leves.
El viernes no se registraron accidentes mortales, mientras que el sábado se contabilizaron diez víctimas mortales, tres heridos graves y catorce leves en nueve siniestros.
Ayer, domingo, once personas perdieron la vida, nueve sufrieron heridas graves y tres de carácter leve en siete accidentes.
De los dieciséis accidentes, cuatro han sido salidas de vía, nueve colisiones, dos atropellos y un vuelco.
Además, nueve de los accidentes se han producido por distracciones y el resto por otras infracciones.
En lo que va de año han muerto 117 personas, cinco menos que hasta la misma fecha del año pasado, lo que representa un descenso del cuatro por ciento.
