Manuel Pellegrini, técnico chileno del Real Madrid, ha dejado fuera de la convocatoria para enfrentarse al Milán al segundo capitán José María Gutiérrez 'Guti', al no verle en plenitud de condiciones, y recupera a última hora al centrocampista 'Lass' Diarra que supera un golpe del último encuentro liguero.
Los partidos ante el Milán siempre fueron especiales para Guti, pero en esta ocasión se quedará en la grada del Santiago Bernabéu. Su fútbol en el torneo del conjunto italiano y su actuación en el último enfrentamiento oficial, en el que marcó, le hacían ser uno de los jugadores más temidos y elogiados por los milanistas.
El esguince de tobillo que le alejó del partido ante el Real Valladolid del pasado sábado, no le impidió volver a entrenar con el grupo en las dos sesiones con las que el Real Madrid ha preparado la visita del Milán, pero finalmente Pellegrini le ha descartado.
"Guti todavía tiene dolor en tobillo y no le permite estar al cien por cien", afirmó en rueda de prensa el técnico madridista. "Arbeloa está en proceso de recuperación pero está para ir convocado y 'Lass' se recuperó bien, no tiene problemas", añadió.
Y es que Álvaro Arbeloa que entró ante el Real Valladolid para completar la convocatoria, tiene mejores sensaciones restablecido del esguince de rodilla que sufría y se acerca a su regreso. Figura de nuevo en la convocatoria.
Como el francés 'Lass' Diarra, que sufrió un fuerte golpe en la rodilla el pasado sábado y entra en la lista tras regresar hoy a la dinámica de grupo para completar el último entrenamiento a puerta cerrada sin problemas.
Pellegrini no recupera ninguno de sus lesionados y ante el Milán se quedan en la enfermería Cristiano Ronaldo, Christoph Metzelder, Fernando Gago y Ruud Van Nistelrooy.
La lista de convocados la forman: Iker Casillas, Dudek, Sergio Ramos, Arbeloa, Pepe, Albiol, Garay, Marcelo, Drenthe, 'Lass', Mahamadou Diarra, Xabi Alonso, Granero, Kaká, Van Der Vaart, Raúl, Higuaín y Benzema.
