Dos periodistas de la televisión pública holandesa fueron detenidos hoy en Teherán y conminados a abandonar el país mientras grababan frente a la oficina de Mir Husein Musavi, el rival de Mahmud Ahmadineyad en los comicios presidenciales que se celebraron el viernes en Irán.
El reportero Jan Eikelboom y el cámara Dennis Hilgers, de la cadena holandesa Nederland 2, fueron arrestados por la Policía iraní y han tenido que abandonar el país "de inmediato", informa dicho medio en un comunicado colgado en su página web.
Las fuerzas del orden iraníes confiscaron el material audiovisual grabado por los periodistas y les retiraron los permisos necesarios para desempeñar dicha labor en el país, explica Nederland 2.
El caso de estos dos periodistas, que se habían desplazado a Teherán para cubrir los comicios presidenciales, se suma al de dos informadores belgas que fueron detenidos esta mañana en Teherán y posteriormente liberados bajo la condición de no volver a tomar imágenes de las manifestaciones que tenían lugar en la ciudad.
Teherán ha sido escenario de varias protestas desde que se anunció la reelección de Ahmadineyad como presidente iraní, con cerca de un 64 por ciento de los votos, casi el doble de lo obtenido por el candidato reformista Musavi, según datos del Ministerio del Interior.
