El Partido Popular ha presentado una ampliación de la denuncia formulada el pasado 24 de julio por la filtración en fechas recientes a la prensa de cuestiones contenidas en la parte del sumario del caso "Gürtel" que aún se encuentra bajo secreto.
Según ha informado el PP, la denuncia fue presentada ayer en el Juzgado de Instrucción número 1 de Madrid.
En su escrito, el PP considera que la revelación durante las últimas semanas, a través de tres artículos del diario El País, de datos relativos al procedimiento sin que éstos formen parte de las actuaciones sobre las que no recae ya el secreto puede constituir un delito continuado de revelación de actuaciones secretas.
Para el PP, estos hechos poseen una especial gravedad y trascendencia que requiere "la respuesta enérgica y efectiva" de los tribunales de Justicia a fin de "procurar erradicar en el menor plazo posible tales actuaciones".
Solicita además en su escrito que se requiera a los periodistas que firman los citados artículos "la aportación de los informes policiales que dicen manejar y/o de cuantos documentos hayan tenido acceso y tengan vinculación con sus artículos a fin de permitir un mejor esclarecimiento de los hechos que se denuncian".
