Los precios de importación de los productos industriales disminuyeron en abril el 7,4 por ciento respecto al mismo mes de 2008 y los de exportaciones, el 2,9 por ciento, lo que supone, en ambos casos, la mayor caída de precios desde que se empezó a elaborar la estadística en 2006.
Según en Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE), el motivo principal de estas caídas ha sido el precio de los productos energéticos, que ha experimentado la mayor bajada de precios tanto en compras como en ventas, el 37,6% y el 35,3%, respectivamente.
En el caso de los bienes intermedios, los precios de las importaciones se redujeron el 3,6% en tasa interanual, mientras que el de los bienes de consumo se incrementó el 2,4% y el de los bienes de equipo lo hizo el 3,2%.
En cuanto a las exportaciones, destaca la caída de precios en productos intermedios que se abarataron el 3,3%, y contrasta con la subida del 1,6% de los bienes de equipo y del 0,3% de los bienes de consumo.
