La portavoz socialista en la Comisión de Igualdad, Carmen Montón, ha aclarado hoy que el teléfono para hombres que anunció ayer la ministra de Igualdad, Bibiana Aído, "no es para maltratadores" sino para aquellos que buscan información sobre "cuestiones diversas".
En rueda de prensa, Montón ha explicado que el servicio telefónico de información y asesoramiento jurídico para las mujeres maltratadas, el 016, estaba recibiendo "muchas llamadas" de hombres por lo que "está bien" que esas consultas se canalicen a otro lugar, como el nuevo teléfono anunciado por Aído.
Según ha explicado Montón, los hombres en este nuevo teléfono podrán expresar sus dudas sobre temas como la sexualidad, la ruptura de pareja, y también podrán llamar aquellos que busquen tratamiento e incluso rehabilitación, pero ha insistido en que no es para maltratadores.
