El secretario general del grupo del PSOE en el Congreso, Ramón Jáuregui, ha transmitido hoy al padre de Mari Luz, la niña asesinada en Huelva por un pederasta, que su partido hará "todo lo posible" para conseguir que los culpables de delitos sexuales a menores cumplan "de forma efectiva" sus condenas.
Jáuregui, según informa un comunicado del grupo parlamentario socialista, ha expresado, además, la satisfacción de su grupo por la aprobación hoy mismo de la iniciativa que endurece las penas a los pederastas y que crea un registro de este tipo de delincuentes, al que sólo podrán acceder las autoridades judiciales y policiales.
Durante la entrevista, el diputado socialista ha informado a Juan José Cortés que en la iniciativa aprobada en la Cámara Baja se ha sustituido la referencia al cumplimiento íntegro de las penas por un cumplimiento "efectivo".
Ha explicado, añade el comunicado, que tanto la Constitución como las leyes vigentes establecen principios como la proporcionalidad de las penas y la reinserción.
