El portavoz socialista de Medio Ambiente en el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Pedro Santín, ha asegurado que la campaña publicitaria en unos escaparates de la calle Preciados, en la que unos modelos se quitan prendas de vestir a la vista y a demanda de los transeúntes, es "vejatoria" e "ilegal".
Según Santín, esta práctica, llevada a cabo por una empresa de refrescos, "no es una manifestación de carácter publicitario", ya que "el 'striptease' no tiene nada que ver con lo que se está promocionando".
El portavoz del PSOE pide que el Ayuntamiento ordene el cese de la campaña, al no cumplir con lo que establece la ordenanza de publicidad exterior de la Comunidad de Madrid, y hace "responsables" de su autorización a los concejales de Medio Ambiente, Ana Botella, y de Seguridad, Pedro Calvo.
Asimismo, Santín ha afirmado que la práctica llevada a cabo por los modelos publicitarios es "denigrante y ofensiva para las personas" e incumple la Ley General de Publicidad, ya que "atenta contra la vulnerabilidad de las personas".
