La Ejecutiva Regional del PSOE andaluz ha decidido iniciar los trámites para incoar expedientes de expulsión provisional del partido de aquellos concejales implicados en la investigación policial contra la corrupción urbanística en el Ayuntamiento de Estepona (Málaga).
Fuentes del PSOE-A ha dicho a Efe que desconocen los concejales que pueden verse afectados por esta medida de la Ejecutiva de los socialistas andaluces y que, en todo caso, "se está a la espera del resultado de la investigación".
La expulsión provisional del partido de los concejales implicados, cuyo número exacto aún se desconoce en la dirección regional socialista, se producirá "en tanto en cuanto no se aclaren las conclusiones de la investigación iniciada por la policía", han señalado las mismas fuentes.
La decisión de la Ejecutiva Regional del PSOE se ha producido unas dos horas después de que agentes de la Unidad contra la Delincuencia y el Crimen Organizado (Udyco) de la Policía hayan entrado en el Ayuntamiento de Estepona con el alcalde, Antonio Barrientos (PSOE), escoltado, en una operación contra la corrupción urbanística.
Fuentes de la investigación han informado a Efe de que la operación, que se desarrolla desde primera hora de esta mañana, es una actuación de la Comisaría General de la Policía Judicial, con sede en Madrid.
Varios secretarios de los juzgados de la vecina ciudad de Marbella han sido movilizados para participar en los registros dentro de esta operación, según han asegurado a Efe fuentes judiciales.
En la sede principal del consistorio de Estepona, donde se encuentra la Alcaldía, no se permite ni la entrada ni la salida a las dependencias, según testigos presenciales.
