El Gobierno de Corea del Norte acusó hoy al de su vecino del Sur de aumentar la tensión en la península coreana "más que nunca", según el diario Rodong Sinmun, órgano oficial del Partido de los Trabajadores norcoreano.
El periódico, citado por la agencia surcoreana Yonhap, califica de "maniobras calculadas" las recientes visitas de las autoridades surcoreanas para animar a los soldados en la frontera y critica las maniobras militares realizadas por Seúl.
Estos movimientos suponen otra "grave provocación militar" contra el país comunista y están destinados a intensificar la tensión en la península, asegura el rotativo.
La críticas de Corea del Norte llegan dos días después de que el presidente de EEUU, Barack Obama, y su homólogo surcoreano, Lee Myung-bak, lanzaran desde Washington una dura crítica contra el régimen de Pyongyang, asegurando que no habrá compensaciones ante las provocaciones norcoreanas.
Hoy, el Ministerio de Defensa surcoreano indicó que un barco patrulla surcoreano realizó el pasado martes una serie de advertencias a un navío militar norcoreano por haberse acercado a la frontera marítima entre ambas Coreas en el Mar del Este (Mar de Japón).
La patrulla norcoreana se retiró tras los avisos sin cruzar la línea divisoria conocida como NLL.
La península coreana vive una escalada tensión desde que Pyongyang lanzó un cohete de largo alcance en abril y realizó su último ensayo nuclear el 25 de mayo.
En respuesta a la nueva resolución de la ONU contra el ensayo atómico norcoreano, Corea del Norte dijo que seguirá con su programa nuclear y que comenzará a enriquecer uranio.
