El presidente del PP, Mariano Rajoy, ha anunciado hoy que presentará la próxima semana una enmienda en el Congreso para devolver al Gobierno la reforma de la Ley del Aborto, y cree que el presidente José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero "debería dejar de actuar con soberbia" en este asunto.
Tras la manifestación de ayer contra esa reforma que plantea el Ejecutivo, Rajoy ha asegurado a los periodistas que la enmienda pretende que esa ley no se tramite, y ha destacado que la marcha "fue un éxito y la obligación de los gobernantes es escuchar a la gente".
En este sentido, ha añadido que "muchísimos españoles le estaban diciendo a Rodríguez Zapatero que hay que unir y no dividir" y considera que "no hay ninguna necesidad de presentar esa ley, como quedó claro ayer".
"Es una ley que divide a los españoles y Rodríguez Zapatero debería dejar actuar con la soberbia con la que lo ha hecho en los últimos tiempos, tanto en este tema como en la crisis económica; escuchar lo que dice la gente y retirar una ley que para lo único que sirve es para dividir al conjunto de los ciudadanos", aseguró Rajoy.
