La Plataforma No Hablamos Catalán ha celebrado hoy una protesta en Zaragoza para rechazar la intención del PSOE y de CHA de "imponer" el catalán en Aragón como lengua propia y reivindicar como aragonés el habla de la franja oriental.
Los manifestantes han reivindicado el idioma aragonés de esa comarca, la vuelta de los bienes sacros retenidos en Lleida y han mostrado un "frontal rechazo" a la imposición del idioma catalán en Aragón.
El presidente de la Plataforma, Lorenzo Pastor, ha explicado en una nota de prensa que la organización agrupa a cincuenta entidades con diferentes sensibilidades pero "con un nexo de unión muy fuerte como es la defensa de la identidad y la integridad territorial de Aragón frente a aquellos que quieren oscurecer nuestra cultura".
La organización invita a los "catalanistas" de Aragón a un debate público, "con luces y taquígrafos, no de espaldas a la opinión pública", al tiempo que aseguran que disponen de todos los argumentos históricos, filológicos y socio-culturales que avalan su posicionamiento.
La PNHC se muestra a favor de la convivencia de la lengua castellana y las modalidades propias aragonesas y rechaza el "conflicto artificial" que el presidente de Aragón, Marcelino Iglesias, y CHA "están creando por su anhelo común de imponer el catalán en Aragón".
La manifestación ha finalizado con la lectura en español y aragonés de un manifiesto en el que se ha expresado la necesidad de "defender nuestras modalidades lingüísticas aragonesas, nuestro patrimonio cultural, así como nuestra identidad en una sintonía y convivencia perfecta entre todos los ciudadanos, huyendo de imposiciones lingüísticas y culturales que solo provocarán conflicto y rechazo entre los propios aragoneses".
