Las factorías de Renault e Iveco Pegaso en Castilla y León continúan hoy cerradas, por segundo día consecutivo, a causa de la huelga nacional de los transportistas, aunque Renault reanudará esta tarde la actividad en el área de motores, han confirmado hoy a EFE fuentes de ambas empresas.
En el caso de la multinacional del rombo, la producción sigue totalmente interrumpida en la fábrica de Villamuriel de Cerrato (Palencia) y parcialmente en las de Valladolid, donde continúan cerradas el área de montaje y algunas líneas de carrocería.
No obstante, la actividad en el área de motores se restablecerá a partir de esta tarde, según han confirmado a EFE fuentes de la compañía, donde el paro afecta a 4.500 trabajadores, incluidos los de la factoría de cajas de cambio de Sevilla.
Por su parte, Iveco Pegaso mantiene totalmente paralizada su actividad en la planta de Valladolid, lo que afecta a los 1.250 trabajadores que integran la plantilla, ha informado a EFE el director de la planta, Carlo Materazzo.
