El futbolista italiano del Milan, Gennaro Gattuso, cumplió su sueño de abrir una pescadería y su inauguración en Gallarate (en las afueras de Milán) se convirtió en todo un acto social con la presencia de sus compañeros de equipo David Beckham y Ronaldinho y otros futbolistas.
Según informa hoy el diario La Repubblica, la inauguración congregó a unas 5.000 personas, que se agolparon en las inmediaciones del negocio para hacerse con una fotografía o un autógrafo de los astros que acudieron al evento.
"Los orígenes no se olvidan", explicó el centrocampista internacional, que procede de la región sureña de Calabria y de familia de pescadores.
"Rino" Gattuso aseguró que su sueño era "ser pescador" y que hacia mucho que quería abrir una pescadería. "Ahora lo he logrado", comentó durante la inauguración.
Con una dimensión aproximada de 800 metros cuadrados, el negocio Gattuso & Bianchi está situado en la calle Bettolino, junto a la línea ferroviaria, y para su puesta en marcha el futbolista se ha asociado con el famoso repostero local Andrea Bianchi.
A la coronación del sueño de Gattuso asistieron además de Beckham y "Dinho", el delantero juventino y compañero en la selección italiana, Vincenzo Iaquinta.
"No apostaría la tienda por el título de liga del Milan, no porque no crea en el scudetto sino porque he dejado sangre y veneno en ella", declaró el futbolista.
