Actualizado:
Un consorcio formado por Técnicas Reunidas y Valoriza, la filial de aguas de Sacyr Vallehermoso, ha logrado un contrato en Australia para la construcción y operación durante 25 años de una planta de desalinización en Perth, según informó el jueves Water Corporation, el propietario de la planta.
El importe del contrato, que las empresas españolas se adjudicaron en consorcio con Aj Lucas Group y Worley Parsons, asciende a 955 millones de dólares australianos (479 millones de euros).
Está previsto que la planta, que operará 50 gigalitros de agua al año, esté operativa antes de finales de 2011.
