La sueca Therese Alsghammar batió hoy su propio récord del mundo de los 50 metros mariposa durante los Campeonatos Australianos de natación que se disputan en las instalaciones olímpicas de Sydney.
Alsghammar, doble medallista de plata olímpica en los Juegos de Sydney 2000, paró el cronómetro en 25.44, dos centésimas menos que la marca lograda por ella misma en junio de 2007 en Barcelona.
