El portavoz de Justicia del PP, Federico Trillo, ha acusado hoy al juez Baltasar Garzón de obstaculizar la acción de la Justicia en la investigación del supuesto "chivatazo" a ETA en 2006, al tiempo que ha emplazado al ministro del Interior, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, a dar explicaciones en el Congreso.
En declaraciones a los medios en el Congreso, tras reunirse con el portavoz del PP en el Ayuntamiento de Barcelona, Alberto Fernández, Trillo ha considerado que Pérez Rubalcaba tendrá que "comparecer no una vez, sino muchas", para esclarecer el denominado "caso Faisán".
A su juicio, la primera responsabilidad política del ministro del Interior es dar cuenta de los hechos y de la información de la que dispone, aunque su "primerísima responsabilidad" es no entorpecer la acción de la Justicia.
No obstante, ha precisado que donde está actualmente "el atasco" en la investigación de este caso no es en el Parlamento, sino en el juez de la Audiencia Nacional Baltasar Garzón.
De ahí, ha explicado, que la actuación del PP esté centrada en el ámbito jurisdiccional, porque "no se puede permitir una situación de impunidad de un delito tan grave como un 'chivatazo' a ETA por parte de la cúpula de las fuerzas de seguridad".
"Parece mentira -se ha quejado Trillo- que quien entonces contribuyó a la lucha por la defensa de la legalidad y para que no quedaran amparados en la ley ni delitos ni delincuentes, como fue el juez Garzón, sea ahora quien obstaculiza la propia acción de la Justicia y las propias ganas de conocer y exigir responsabilidades criminales".
Unas responsabilidades que, según su criterio, no solamente está reclamando el PP, sino también "la inmensa mayoría de la sociedad".
