La Unión Cristianodemócrata (CDU), su hermanada Unión Socialcristiana (CSU) y el Partido Liberal (FDP) sellaron esta madrugada los acuerdos de su pacto de coalición de gobierno, que hoy presentarán oficialmente.
Según informaron las cúpulas de los partidos, el texto establece unas rebajas fiscales de 24.000 millones de euros a partir de 2011, y salva así uno de los principales escollos de las negociaciones.
La descarga impositiva se sitúa así entre los 15.000 millones que inicialmente ofrecía la CDU -luego mejorada a 20.000 millones- y los 35.000 millones con que hizo campaña el FDP.
El pacto de coalición contempla además reducir en tres meses el servicio militar obligatorio, que queda así fijado en seis meses, y reformar la sanidad pública para fomentar la competitividad de las 180 mutuas integradas en el sistema estatal, frente al fondo común actual.
La canciller, Angela Merkel, su homólogo socialcristiano, Horst Seehofer, y el líder liberal, Guido Westerwelle, presentarán hoy oficialmente los resultados de las negociaciones en una rueda de prensa prevista para las 08.30 horas GMT.
Se espera que el reparto de las carteras ministeriales otorgue ocho puestos a la CDU, incluido en el de canciller, mientras que a la CSU y al FDP les corresponderían tres y cinco, respectivamente.
El secretario general de la CDU, Roland Pofalla, elogió el futuro gobierno "de centro", después de que los resultados electorales del pasado 27 de septiembre finiquitaran la gran coalición entre cristianodemócratas, socialcristianos y los socialdemócratas del SPD y abrieran la puerta a al alianza con el FDP.
Por el momento, continúan las quinielas ministeriales acerca de la composición del futuro gabinete de Merkel, que sitúan al hasta ahora ministro de Interior, Wolfgang Schäuble, en Finanzas, y a Westerwelle en el cargo de vicecanciller y de ministro de Exteriores.
El pacto de coalición será sometido a votación entre mañana y el lunes por los tres partidos.
El próximo martes está prevista la constitución del próximo Bundestag (Parlamento federal) y, un día después, Merkel se someterá a su votación.
