El Valencia y el Real Madrid ha concretado hoy el traspaso del defensa central Raúl Albiol, a falta de la firma del acuerdo entre clubes, informaron a Efe fuentes cercanas la negociación.
Manuel García Quilón, representante del defensa valencianista, negoció con el club de Mestalla el pase del jugador valenciano al Real Madrid, que podría cerrarse por una cantidad próxima a los quince millones de ruso según las misma fuentes.
Además, Albiol, de 23 años y que ha militado en el Valencia en las cuatro últimas temporadas, podría firmar un contrato con el club madridista por las cinco próximas temporadas.
Albiol será, pues, el primer fichaje español de la segunda era de Florentino Pérez como presidente del Real Madrid y el tercer jugador ya incorporado, tras el brasileño Kaká y el portugués Cristiano Ronaldo.
En la jornada del martes, García Quilón estuvo presente en las oficinas del Valencia para tratar este asunto, así como el posible fichaje del guardameta Miguel Ángel Moyá, del Real Mallorca, por el club valencianista.
El traspaso del jugador valenciano podría hacerse oficial, salvo imprevisto, a última hora de hoy o lo largo de la jornada de mañana jueves.
