La Junta Electoral de Valencia analizará hoy la alegación presentada al recuento de votos en Beneixida, población donde está empadronada la vicepresidenta primera del Gobierno, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, ya que por un error de códigos la candidatura del PSOE carece de sufragio alguno.
Según consta en la página web del Ministerio del Interior, el escrutinio de las elecciones al Parlamento Europeo del pasado domingo en este pequeño pueblo valenciano arroja un resultado de 215 votos para el Partido Obrero Socialista Internacionalista (POSI) y 141 para el PP.
Otras formaciones como ERPV, EU, Bloc o UPyD logran también votos pero la candidatura del PSOE aparece en el citado listado oficial entre las veinticuatro que presentan un cero por ciento de respaldo electoral.
Fuentes del PSPV-PSOE han confirmado a EFE que este hecho se debe exclusivamente a un "error material" sufrido durante el proceso telemático en que el acta de la única mesa electoral del pueblo -ubicada en el salón de actos del Ayuntamiento- fue transmitida hasta el Centro de Recogida de Información situado en la Subdelegación del Gobierno de Valencia.
En esa transmisión se intercambiaron los códigos de las candidaturas del POSI y del PSOE, según las mismas fuentes, que han expresado su convencimiento de que la reunión ordinaria de mañana de la Junta Electoral Provincial "solucionará" este malentendido informático y la victoria socialista será ratificada oficialmente.
Así, en los comicios del pasado domingo la lista que encabezaba Juan Fernando López Aguilar habría logrado 215 de los 389 votos emitidos, lo que supone ocho menos que en la cita electoral de 2004 y un descenso porcentual de más de cinco puntos.
Por su parte, el PP ha subido en treinta votos (más de un seis por ciento) respecto a las pasadas elecciones al Parlamento Europeo.
María Teresa Fernández de la Vega se empadronó en 2007 en este pequeño municipio, gobernado por el partido Agrupació Progressista de Beneixida (APB), para poder presentarse como cabeza de lista por Valencia en las elecciones generales.
El pasado domingo De la Vega también acudió a votar a Beneixida, municipio situado a unos 52 kilómetros al suroeste de Valencia y perteneciente a la comarca de la Ribera Alta, donde nació y creció.
