1. ¿Cómo recuerda los clásicos que jugó?
Son partidos muy intensos, muy diferentes a cualquier otro encuentro que puedas jugar. Todo se lleva al límite, hay mucha gente pendiente de ti. Son muy bonitos de jugar, es difícil compararlos con el resto de partidos porque en la calle no se habla de otra cosa.
2. Usted jugó la final de Copa del año 90, ¿cómo fue aquel partido?
La perdimos, pero lo que más recuerdo de aquel partido fue la actuación del árbitro, García de Loza, que estuvo horrible y fue determinante en aquel partido. Sin él las cosas hubiesen sido diferentes
3. ¿Recuerda algún pique con algún jugador del Barcelona en particular?
No, yo no era jugador de tener enganchones con nadie. Me acuerdo de muchos jugadores del Barcelona de aquella época y de muchos partidos contra ellos, pero no creo que tuviese problemas con ninguno en especial. Casi todo lo de esos partidos se recuerda con cariño.
4. ¿Cómo ve los clásicos que vienen ahora por delante?
Para el Real Madrid, muy difíciles. El Barcelona es favorito, porque es un equipo que está imparable y lleva tiempo demostrándolo. Ha dominado la Liga, que la tiene casi ganada, y ha dejado muy claro que es el equipo más fuerte. Lleva varios años así. Pero de todos modos hay esperanza. Si hay un equipo que es capaz de pararle y ganarle, ese es el Real Madrid, que también es un conjunto muy bueno y tiene un espíritu .
