El holandés Wesley Sneijder deberá permanecer de baja entre cuatro y cinco semanas debido a que en el partido que enfrentó al Recreativo y al Real Madrid (0-1), sufrió una rotura muscular de grado II en el músculo del bíceps femoral izquierdo.
Sneijder se vio obligado a abandonar el terreno de juego, a causa de la mencionada lesión, en el minuto 92. El holandés había entrado veinte minutos antes para reemplazar a su compañero Huntelaar.
Según informa el Real Madrid en su página web, también está lesionado el argentino Gabriel Heinze, que padece una sinovitis traumática en su rodilla izquierda.
"El jugador está pendiente de su evolución clínica", añade la nota del club blanco.
'Lass' Diarra, centrocampista internacional francés del Real Madrid, elogió el trabajo de su entrenador, Juande Ramos, y afirmó que gracias a él el conjunto madridista "lucha por la Liga" con el Barcelona.
"Al principio no conocía el estilo de Juande, pero sí su nombre Es un entrenador muy disciplinado. Gracias a él, el Real Madrid está luchando por la Liga", manifestó en rueda de prensa. "Las victorias que estamos consiguiendo vienen por el trabajo del entrenador. Estoy muy contento con él y está siendo importante para mí", añadió, destacando la figura de Juande Ramos para su rápida adaptación al fútbol español.
El Real Madrid batió en Huelva un nuevo récord propio, el de victorias consecutivas a domicilio tras certificar en el Nuevo Colombino la séptima consecutiva. 'Lass' solo recuerda en su carrera una etapa similar en el Chelsea. "Allí también viví una buena racha. Estuvimos dos años y medio sin perder en casa".
