Consejeros y ministro salieron satisfechos del primer Consejo Interterritorial de Sanidad de la legislatura. Consensuaron elaborar un Pacto por la Sanidad y el órgano abordó por primera vez cómo ajustar la financiación que reciben de sus comunidades al creciente gasto sanitario. Todas coincidieron en que lo que reciben es insuficiente.
El consenso de ayer borró la cita del pasado diciembre, cuando los consejeros del PP abandonaron la reunión porque la financiación no estaba en el orden del día. “Hay un antes y un después de este consejo”, aseguró Bernat Soria. El ministro se mostró confiado en que “posiblemente en otoño”, el pacto, que persigue “mantener la sostenibilidad del Sistema Nacional de Salud”, comience a materializarse en “mínimos”.
El pacto, que Soria confía que se convierta en Pacto de Estado, abordará aspectos como los recursos humanos. El ministro aseguró que se está ultimando el documento sobre las necesidades de los profesionales del sector.
Los consejeros de Sanidad elaborarán un informe para acordar el peso de cada factor que influye en el aumento del gasto y lo transmitirán en agosto a los consejeros de Economía y al ministro Pedro Solbes. Así, sólo habrá una voz de Sanidad cuando el Consejo de Política Fiscal y Financiera trate la financiación autonómica. El crecimiento demográfico, el turismo, el envejecimiento de la población y su dispersión son los factores que, según los consejeros, incrementan el gasto. Ahora tendrán que consensuar cuáles ponen más ceros a sus cuentas.
