CCOO de Madrid ha presentado una querella ante los juzgados de instrucción contra Salvador Sostres y el director del periódico El Mundo, Pedro J. Ramírez, en el que se publicó el artículo Un chico normal.
Sostres afirmaba en dicho texto que "un chico normal de 21 años que está enamorado de su novia embarazada, es normal que pierda el corazón y la cabeza, el sentido y el mundo de vista, si un día llega a su casa y su chica le dice que le va a dejar y que, además, el bebé que espera no es suyo". El texto hacía alusión a un reciente crimen machista.
La querella acusa a Sostres y a Ramírez de provocar a la discriminación, al odio o a la violencia contra grupos o asociaciones por motivos racistas, antisemitas u otros referentes a la ideología, religión o creencias, situación familiar, su origen nacional o su sexo, entre otros motivos.
Está castigado con prisión de uno a tres años y multa de seis a 12 meses.También les atribuye otro delito de apología y/o provocación al asesinato y a cometer lesiones por la justificación que el texto hacía de la conducta de un joven rumano que confesó a su padre haber matado a su novia a través de una webcam.
La querella, redactada por el abogado Antonio Segura, señala que el artículo se publicó el pasado día 7. Por la tarde, Ramírez ordenó retirarlo de la edición digital.
