La Policía Nacional ha detenido a dos personas que, a modo de "muleros", transportaban 2,52 kilos de cocaína líquida envasada en preservativos, ha informado hoy la Jefatura Superior de Madrid.
Los detenidos, un español de 46 años y una ecuatoriana de 41, habían llegado a España en un vuelo procedente de Guayaquil en Ecuador y llevaban en su organismo 79 cápsulas con la droga, que había sido envuelta antes de su ingesta con preservativos para proteger su contenido dentro del aparato digestivo.
Según la Policía, en este tipo de envíos la cocaína es previamente dosificada formando bolas o, en el argot, "bellotas" plastificadas, herméticamente cerradas, que son ingeridas por los "muleros".
En esta ocasión cada envase, de un peso aproximado de treinta gramos, estaba protegido por dos preservativos superpuestos y el clorhidrato de cocaína de su interior se encontraba en estado líquido.
Los profilácticos tenían la doble función de proteger la droga y a su portador desde el momento de la ingesta, durante el largo viaje desde Ecuador, hasta su expulsión en España.
