Número de teléfono contra el acoso escolar. / EUROPA PRESS

MADRID. - El Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte ha detectado un total de 1.594 posibles casos de acoso escolar en las 4.714 llamadas a su nuevo teléfono 900 018 018, que puso en funcionamiento el pasado 1 de noviembre para luchar contra esta "importante lacra".
Esta es la última actualización de las llamadas a este teléfono, avanzada este martes 13 de diciembre por el ministro del ramo, Íñigo Méndez de Vigo, durante su comparecencia en la Comisión de Educación y Deporte del Senado, en la que ha asegurado que estos posibles casos su departamento los traslada a la Inspección educativa de las comunidades autónomas y los más graves los pone en conocimiento de la Policía.
El ministro ha indicado que tiene intención de acordar con las comunidades autónomas en el seno de la Conferencia Sectorial de Educación el Plan Estratégico de Convivencia Escolar, actualmente en fase de borrador, con medidas concretas para acabar con "una de las lacras más importantes de esta sociedad" como es, a su juicio, el acoso escolar.
Asimismo, ha subrayado que para este plan tiene intención de contar con la participación no sólo de las comunidades autónomas, sino también de expertos, centros educativos, docentes y familias y que incluya como ejes la educación inclusiva, la educación de los sentimientos y la amistad o el uso adecuado de las nuevas tecnologías.
