Guerra abierta contra el graffitero y "que deteriora la ciudad". El Ayuntamiento de Madrid aumentará las multas contra los graffiteros, actualmente fijadas entre 60 y 90 euros. Quieren ahorrarse los 6 millones de euros que, según las cuentas municipales, cuesta la limpieza de pintadas del mobiliario urbano.
El alcalde justificó su decisión asegurando que los graffitis hacen que los ciudadanos tengan la percepción de que el Consistorio "abandona" zonas de la ciudad "cuando no es cierto".
Nueva ordenanza
El Ayuntamiento redactará una nueva ordenanza de limpieza, según anunció ayer el alcalde, acompañado de Ana Botella, responsable de medio ambiente, tras pasear por Malasaña. Anunciaron que harán dos limpiezas integrales cada año de todos los barrios de la ciudad.
La medida ya tiene sus opositores. Pedro Santín, portavoz de medio ambiente del PSOE, reclamó muros en los distritos "para que los graffiteros expresen su arte" como ya pasa en Leganés. Pidió además soluciones para "el verdadero problema": las cacas de perro.
