Dos trabajadores han resultado heridos, uno de ellos con quemaduras, y 150 han sido evacuados al producirse una fuga de amoniaco en la empresa DAMM, situada en el polígono industrial de Mas Mateu de El Prat de Llobregat (Barcelona), han informado fuentes de Protección Civil.
Como consecuencia de la fuga de amoniaco, se ha activado el Plan de emergencias exterior del sector químico de Catalunya (Paseqat), mientras que fuentes de Protección Civil han asegurado que la fuga está controlada, pero la nube tóxica continúa en el interior de la fábrica.
Dos trabajadores han resultado heridos, uno de ellos por inhalación de gas y su estado es leve, y el segundo tiene quemaduras en el 18% de su cuerpo y ha sido trasladado al Hospital de la Vall d'Hebrón, de Barcelona.
Ocho dotaciones de los bomberos de la Generalitat trabajan en la zona, además de efectivos del Servicio de Emergencias Médicas y los Mossos d'Esquadra, que han cerrado el tráfico en la zona.
