Al menos 10 personas murieron y 43 resultaron heridas al chocar un tren de pasajeros con otro de mercancías en el este de Alemania.
Según fuentes policiales citados por medios locales de información el accidente tuvo lugar el sábado por la tarde cerca de la ciudad de Oschersleben, en el estado de Sajonia-Anhalt.
Las fuentes citadas precisaron que 18 de los heridos están graves y se desconoce las causas del accidente.
El tren de pasajeros siniestrado, el HarzElbeExpress, cubría el trayecto entre Magdeburgo y Halberstadt.
