ANKARA.-El primer ministro de Turquía Recep Tayyip Erdogan ha convocado elecciones anticipadas para el 1 de noviembre, según ha anunciado este viernes.
Ahora se formará un gobierno provisional con miembros de fuera del Parlamento si fuera necesario, ha añadido. El mandatario pedirá al primer ministro, Ahmet Davutoglu, a principios de la próxima semana que forme un gobierno de concentración temporal, según fuentes oficiales.
La decisión de anticipar estas elecciones se produce tras semanas de intentos fallidos para acordar una coalición con alguno de los partidos de la oposición, después de que el AKP no revalidara su mayoría tras los comicios del 7 de junio.
Las negociaciones correspondientes con el partido socialdemócrata CHP y los nacionalistas del MHP ya concluyeron sin resultado, aunque el plazo marcado para lograr este objetivo solo expirará este domingo.
El estreno parlamentario del partido prokurdo HDP, que superó en junio en su primer intento la barrera del 10% de los votos, causó un gran revuelo en el escenario político turco. Con la llegada de HDP, el Gobierno endureció las medidas contra la minoría kurda, puso fin al armisticio con el partido kurdo ilegalizado, Partido de los Trabajadores Kurdos (PKK) y atacó a sus campamentos en el norte de Irak.
Según diversos sondeos, el partido de Erdogan podría recuperar la mayoría absoluta en las elecciones anticipadas.
