Ciberactivista, defensor de hackers y de dueños de páginas de enlaces, Carlos Sánchez Almeida comprende que haya ciudadanos tan irritados como para lanzar ataques contra webs. Sin embargo, lo considera un error.
¿Qué opina de los ataques?
Creo que es un error estratégico. Conseguirán atención mediática un tiempo, pero a la larga servirá para criminalizar a Anonymous y lo que es peor, a Wikileaks , a Julian Assange y a todo el movimiento ciberactivista.
Pero, ¿entiende sus motivaciones?
Comprendo el enfado, pero lo que hay que hacer es mantener los canales de comunicación abiertos, abrir webs, no cerrarlas. Lo que está pasando ahora es más importante que la caída del Muro de Berlín y hay que darlo a conocer, sacarlo de la blogosfera y llevarlo a la calle. Pero los no conectados pueden identificar estas acciones con ciberdelincuencia.
¿Internet se ha convertido en un arma para la acción política?
La red es al mismo tiempo una vía pública y un medio de comunicación. Puedes manifestarte como en la calle. La manifestación puede molestar a algunos, pero siempre podrán echar por otra calle. Pero, como medio de comunicación, no puedes atacar una web, es atentar contra la libertad de expresión que dices defender.
