El Parlamento Vasco rendirá mañana lunes un homenaje al inspector de la Policía Eduardo Antonio Puelles García, asesinado el pasado viernes en Arrigorriaga (Vizcaya) en un atentado terrorista de ETA.
El acto tendrá lugar a la una de la tarde en sede del Parlamento en Vitoria, concretamente en el exterior del edificio donde está situada la escultura en recuerdo a las víctimas del terrorismo. La presidenta de la Cámara vasca, Arantza Quiroga, ha convocado a las 12:45 horas una concentración delante de la sede parlamentaria y a la una se realizará una ofrenda floral ante la escultura, junto a la que se colocará una fotografía del policía asesinado.
Posteriormente, se dará lectura a la declaración de repulsa del atentado terrorista que el Parlamento Vasco aprobó el viernes por unanimidad de todos los grupos, en la que se condenó el "brutal atentado que costó la vida a Puelles, asesinado "vilmente por ETA". En el texto, la Cámara también muestra su cariño, solidaridad y cercanía con los familiares del agente, con sus compañeros y con el conjunto de las Fuerzas de Seguridad del Estado y de la Ertzaintza.
Este será el cuarto acto de estas características que celebra el Parlamento autonómico. El primero tuvo lugar en mayo del pasado año cuando ETA mató al guardia civil Juan Manuel Piñuel en un atentado contra la casa cuartel de Legutiano (Álava).
El segundo se celebró en septiembre, con motivo del asesinato del brigada del ejército Luis Conde, y el tercero en diciembre del mismo año, tras el atentado en el que murió el empresario guipuzcoano Ignacio Uría.
