Zapatero pronunció las dos palabras, "financiación autonómica", pero soslayó el pulso que mantiene el presidente de la Generalitat de Catalunya con la práctica totalidad de los demás barones socialistas.
El presidente del Gobierno reiteró su "invitación permanente a todas las fuerzas políticas para dialogar y acordar las grandes cuestiones que afectan al Estado", y entonces citó la presidencia de la Unión Europea, el agua y la financiación autonómica. No hubo más.
Acudieron a la fiesta de los socialistas vascos los presidentes de Andalucía, Catalunya, Extremadura, Baleares, Aragón y Galicia, y varios secretarios regionales, pero sus conversaciones no pasaron de corrillos. No hubo cumbre, ni siquiera bilaterales, aunque se juzga muy probable que se produzca una reunión de esas características.
Esperando a Solbes
Las fuentes consultadas por Público indicaron que el diálogo interno está abierto, pese a que pueda dar una impresión distinta el hecho de que, al mismo tiempo, "cada uno está intentando marcar su territorio" públicamente.
Zapatero y José Blanco, a quien el presidente ha encargado la búsqueda del consenso interno, están a la espera de que el vicepresidente económico, Pedro Solbes, que es por ahora el único interlocutor, ultime una propuesta concreta.
El presidente aprovechó su intervención para reiterar que, "aunque estamos en desaceleración económica, no habrá decretazos ni recortes de los derechos de los trabajadores".
