Actualizado:El PSOE ha cuestionado este martes la propuesta de reforma de la ley del aborto que defiende Unidas Podemos, su socio en el Gobierno, otra discrepancia entre ambos que ha quedado puesta de manifiesto esta tarde en el Pleno del Congreso.
Aunque hoy no se ha votado, los socialistas, en boca de su diputada Laura Berja, han dejado claro su desacuerdo con la mayoría de los contenidos de la proposición no de ley defendida en la Cámara por Unidas Podemos para la modificación de la ley.
Sólo en un punto ambos grupos coinciden, y es en derogar la reforma que en 2015 aprobó el Gobierno del PP para impedir que las menores interrumpieran el embarazo sin autorización de sus progenitores o tutores.
Berja ha insistido en que no es el momento de "abrir" la ley en más aspectos, como pretende Unidas Podemos, que entre otras cosas, quiere que en esa norma se recoja la "explotación reproductiva" y la "violencia obstétrica".
Según los socialistas, el Ministerio de Sanidad ya elaboró un informe desfavorable a esas propuestas de Unidas Podemos al considerar que tendrían más cabida en la ley de violencias sexuales.
En suma, el PSOE propone volver a la ley de 2010, la llamada ley Aído, que consideran "garantista" y que consiguió un amplio consenso en las Cortes y con una izquierda unida, según ha resaltado Berja. Una ley que "la ciudadanía hizo suya", ha apostillado.
"Abrir la ley del aborto no es un acierto", ha continuado la diputada socialista.
Mientras, la diputada de Unidas Podemos Sofía Fernández ha defendido la proposición y ha arremetido contra quienes ejercen la violencia y coaccionan a las mujeres que quieren abortar.
Fernández ha rechazado las enmiendas presentadas por Ciudadanos y PSOE y ha anunciado que el texto se votará en la Cámara, previsiblemente el jueves, en los mismos términos en que se ha registrado.
