La presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, ha celebrado que el nuevo ministro de Fomento, José Blanco, se haya puesto en contacto con ella para que sea la primera presidenta autonómica que se reúna con él.
"Blanco supone una nueva era y una nueva etapa positiva para los madrileños y las infraestructuras de la región", ha considerado la presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid.
La lideresa del PP ha dejado claro que "no he tenido nunca complejo en criticar al Gobierno de Zapatero cuando no se ha portado bien con los madrileños".
No obstante, ha añadido que "tampoco lo tengo ahora en decir que como presidenta de la Comunidad y en nombre de todos los madrileños queremos mostrar al nuevo ministro nuestra gratitud, confianza y esperanza en que las infraestructuras que Madrid necesita para seguir siendo la locomotora económica de toda España".
Así, Aguirre, que no se reúne con un responsable de Fomento desde noviembre de 2007, aseguró que con Blanco las infraestructuras que Madrid necesita como el Plan de Cercanías y nuevas carreteras "se van a conseguir con el consenso del Gobierno de la nación y el Gobierno de la Comunidad de Madrid".
La presidenta ha explicado que esta mañana habló con Blanco para fijar la primera reunión entre ambos responsables y donde expresará las necesidades de infraestructuras y transportes que los madrileños tienen, "tanto en materia de Cercanías, que son importantísimas, como en materia de transportes por carretera y aeropuertos, donde la Comunidad tiene problemas", recordó.
"Se han presentado planes de Cercanías diversos, con diversos importantes hasta en cinco ocasiones", apuntó, aunque destacó que tiene "confianza" en que "esta vez va a ser la definitiva".
De hecho, señaló que Blanco ya le ha dicho que quiere presentar dicho plan conjuntamente.
