El grupo de alimentación Campofrío dijo el martes que ha multiplicado por nueve su beneficio a marzo hasta los 3,8 millones de euros gracias al incremento de las ventas y a la mejora de márgenes del grupo.
En una nota a la CNMV, Campofrío dijo que su Ebitda se ha incrementado un 28 por ciento en el primer trimestre hasta los 34 millones de euros.
El margen de Ebitda sobre ventas se situó en el 7,9 por ciento, 1,8 puntos porcentuales más que hace un año.
La facturación de la sociedad se ha incrementado en un 1,3 por ciento hasta los 430 millones de euros,
"Esta mejora ha sido posible gracias al crecimiento del 5 por ciento en volumen experimentado por la marcas del grupo (...) Esta mejora en ventas de productos de marca ha sido especialmente relevante en las compañías de los dos mercados de mayor tamaño, donde el crecimiento ha sido del 13 por ciento en Francia y del 8 por ciento en España, en el primer trimestre de 2010", dijo Campofrío en su nota.
La deuda del grupo ascendió a 417 millones de euros.
