Karmele Marchante bate todos los records en el primer día de votaciones para elegir candidato a Eurovisión.
Sólo un día después de abrirse las votaciones, la periodista de la prensa rosa, que para su candidatura utiliza el nombre de 'Popstar Queen', encabezaba la lista con casi 40.000 votos. La segunda opción, la cantante Coral Segovia, se quedaba a 15.000 votos de distancia de 'Marchante'.
Les siguieron, con más de 9.000 votos, el grupo El pezón rojo, seguido de cerca por Samuel y Patricia, con 8.000, y por Venus, con 7.300. Daniel Diges, la 'triunfita' Lorena, Ainhoa Cantalapiedra, Chimo Bayo y José Galisteo completan el 'top 10' provisional, todos por encima de los 5.000 votos.
Cuando finalice el periodo de votaciones el próximo 5 de febrero, los diez artistas más votados en el portal participarán en un programa especial que emitirá Televisión Española y donde el jurado y el público, a través de SMS y llamadas telefónicas, elegirán al representante de TVE en el próximo Festival de Eurovisión, que se celebrará en Oslo el mes de mayo.
Hasta ese momento, cada usuario sólo podrá emitir cinco votos al día desde una dirección de correo electrónica válida. Una vez validados, se computarán los votos en una página de 'Los más votados', que se irá actualizando varias veces al día.
