El técnico portugués José Mourinho, entrenador del Real Madrid para las próximas temporadas, mantuvo esta mañana una reunión con el capitán madridista Raúl González, en la que estuvieron hablando del futuro de un jugador que "es historia del club y, por tanto, hay que respetarle".
"He hablado esta mañana con Raúl. No he perdido el tiempo. Desayuné en Valdebebas (Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid). Se estaba entrenado allí y hablamos. Y entre un entrenador y un jugador, la prensa no entra", reconoció Mourinho, durante el acto de su presentación oficial como nuevo técnico madridista.
A Raúl González, que se encuentra recuperándose de una lesión, le resta una campaña más de contrato con el Real Madrid (prorrogable automáticamente si juega un número determinado de partidos), pero el capitán aún no ha decidido su futuro.
"De lo hablado con Raúl no quiero decir nada, ya que aún no he comentado mi conversación con él ni con el director (general, Jorge Valdano) ni con el presidente (Florentino Pérez)", dijo Mourinho, que se mostró reservado a la hora de desvelar si cuenta o no con el capitán para la próxima temporada.
Lo que sí comentó Mourinho es que "se debe respetar a quien está en la historia del Real Madrid".
"Yo llegué hoy, no he hecho nada por el Real Madrid, no estoy en la historia del Real Madrid. Raúl está en la historia del Real Madrid; y quien no está en la historia del Real Madrid debe respetar y ser honesto con quien está en ella. Debo respetar a Raúl, no puedo tratarle como a un jugador cualquiera", apuntó Mourinho.
