Los trabajadores del periódico nonato 'La Voz de la Calle' han decidido constituirse en Asamblea tras enterarse ayer mediante un "correo genérico" de que Teodulfo Lagunero, editor e inversor del mismo, abortó la salida del diario "por no poder hacer frente a un aval bancario que pide la distribuidora".
El conjunto de la plantilla, tal y como confirmó ayer a Público, ha permanecido toda la noche en la redacción para decidir el camino a seguir ahora. Raúl García, portavoz de los trabajadores y trabajadoras, ha declarado hoy que se han constituido en Asamblea. Han pedido además a la empresa que designe "un interlocutor legal para compartir posturas" y establecer una "negociación laboral directa".
García ha recordado que en ningún momento se les ha comunicado su despido, por lo que seguirán personándose en su puesto de trabajo diariamente. "En el correo se nos avisaba de la liquidación de la sociedad, pero no se nos despedía", ha manifestado.
Ayer, los trabajadores recordaban que empezaron a trabajar el día 15 de marzo y desde entonces ejercían "sin contrato, en negro". No obstante, insistían en que seguían "con la ilusión intacta".
A pesar de lo duro de la situación, los periodistas de 'La Voz de la Calle' intentan mantenerse fuertes y ya han recibido el apoyo de gran parte de la comunidad tuitera, que ha enviado sus mensajes de ánimo a través del hashtag #lavozdelacalle.
