El presidente del Congreso de los Diputados, Jesús Posada, del Partido Popular, se ha manifestado en contra de la acción 'Ocupa el Congreso' y confía en que el ministro de Interior, Jorge Fernández Díaz, adoptará las medidas necesarias para evitar las "algaradas callejeras".
El titular de Interior ha respondido a estas declaraciones y ha asegurado que blindarán el Congreso de los Diputados el próximo 25 de septiembre, día en el que se convoca la acción.
Posada ha aplaudido esta decisión, pues cree que "es mejor prevenir que curar" y recuerda su experiencia como gobernador civil para decir que "es mucho mejor prevenir con fuerza suficiente para que no haya incidentes, a que haya incidentes y luego tener que intervenir".
El presidente del Congreso pretende asegurar la inviolabilidad del Parlamento durante la jornada 'Ocupa el Congreso', un martes en el que está prevista la celebración de una sesión plenaria.
Posada cree que el Ministerio del Interior es el responsable de la seguridad, porque es el que tiene toda la información, sabe lo que puede ocurrir y toma las medidas que considera oportunas. "Estoy seguro, no tengo la más mínima duda, que tanto ese día 25 como cualquier otro el Ministerio del Interior tomará las medidas para que eso no pueda ocurrir", ha zanjado.
Desde el nuevo paquete de ajustes aprobado por el Gobierno, hay una vigilancia especial en los alrededores del Congreso con vallas y policías rodeándolo, medidas de seguridad que aprueba el presidente de la Cámara Baja.
'Ocupa el Congreso' es la acción que ha propuesto una coordinadora del colectivo Plataforma En Pie!, que consiste en rodear las instalaciones de la Cámara Baja, una acción que definen como "simbólica" y totalmente "pacífica.
