El presidente de la Diputación de Pontevedra, el conservador Rafael Louzán, ha reclamado a la Xunta de Galicia que declare al titular del Ejecutivo central, José Luís Rodríguez Zapatero, "persona non grata". "Es indigno de un político, Galicia debía nombrar persona non grata a Zapatero por no acudir a Compostela en un año como este, porque además el Año Santo no se repetirá hasta 2021", ha sentenciado.
El presidente de la Diputación de Pontevedra indicó que "ante un evento de esta magnitud" no parece "de recibo" la actitud del presidente "de toda España, y por lo tanto también de los gallegos", sobre todo "en un año en el que hubo una visita del papa Benedicto XVI, y del rey Juan Carlos y los príncipes de Asturias".
Rafael Louzán destacó la importancia del Xacobeo para la comunidad autónoma "por lo que significa para Galicia de cara al exterior, y no sólo desde el punto de vista religioso". "No hay precedente en España de que una persona que nos representa a todos, no esté donde tiene que estar", añadió.
Al tiempo, Rafael Louzán señaló que Rodríguez Zapatero "pudo haber escogido cualquier momento" y, en este sentido recordó, que "le quedan todavía unos días" para desplazarse a Galicia. "Ojalá que lo haga", apostilló.
"Galicia no se merece este maltrato", continuó el mandatario provincial, antes de insistir en la declaración al presidente del Gobierno como persona non grata porque, de este modo, subrayó, "ya no hace falta que venga más". "Lo digo como lo siento", zanjó Louzán.
