La Junta de Portavoces del Parlament ha realizado hoy una declaración con motivo del 75 aniversario del exilio republicano y antifascista en la que se hace un reconocimiento a las víctimas del franquismo por haber defendido la legalidad y la democracia al tiempo que lamenta que no haya habido una reparación plena.
Según informa la Cámara catalana en un comunicado, el texto lo han suscrito los grupos parlamentarios de CiU, ERC, PSC, ICV-EUiA, Ciutadans y la CUP. El PPC no lo ha suscrito.
En la declaración, la Junta de Portavoces del Parlament expresa de forma "pública y solemne" su reconocimiento a todas las personas que "murieron o sufrieron heridas, exilio, prisión o cualquier tipo de represión" por haber defendido la legalidad y la democracia. El PPC no ha suscrito la declaración
Asimismo, la declaración lamenta que no se hayan reparado "todas las consecuencias" de la guerra y de la dictadura franquista y, en este sentido, la Junta de Portavoces se compromete a "seguir trabajando" para la "reparación plena" de las víctimas.
El texto recuerda que en el año 2014 se conmemora el Año del Exilio Republicano, 75 años desde que las tropas franquistas "ocuparon toda Cataluña y provocaron miles de muertos y heridos", además del exilio de ciudadanos "identificados" con la República y el antifascismo.
"Aquel año 1939, Catalunya perdió las libertades democráticas, como el resto del Estado español, y perdió además el autogobierno", dice la declaración, después de que el gobierno legítimo de la Generalitat y la mayoría de los diputados del Parlament tuviesen que exiliarse.
