Unas 4.000 personas tuvieron que dormir la noche pasada en los dos aeropuertos de París y en varias estaciones de ferrocarril de la ciudad por la imposibilidad de tomar los aviones o los trenes a causa del temporal de nieve en Europa.
La ministra francesa de Ecología, Nathalie Kociusko Morizet, explicó en una entrevista a la emisora de radio 'France Info' que unos 3.000 pasajeros habían tenido que pasar la noche en las terminales del aeropuerto de Roissy Charles de Gaulle, 400 en Orly y varios cientos más en las estaciones de tren de la capital.
Kociusko Morizet admitió que los problemas en Charles de Gaulle y en Orly no podrán resolverse por completo en las próximas horas aunque ya no haya nieve debido a los retrasos y anulaciones causados por las perturbaciones en otros aeropuertos europeos, en particular los británicos y alemanes.
Además, cuando no llegan aviones de otros aeropuertos, no se puede despegar desde París, explicó la ministra.
En cualquier caso, indicó que las compañías aéreas deben mejorar la información.
La compañía Air France señaló, por su parte, que espera una mejora durante el día.
Ayer, a causa de la nevada caída en País y por la falta de conexiones con otros aeropuertos europeos, en Charles de Gaulle y Orly se anularon el 30% de las conexiones previstas.
Los servicios meteorológicos anunciaban hoy el paso de un nuevo frente por Francia que llega por la costa atlántica, pero en este caso traerá lluvia y no nieve -salvo en las montañas-, pero un nuevo episodio de nevadas, en particular al noroeste del país, se podría repetir el próximo jueves.
