La presidenta del Parlament y presidenta de honor de Unió Mallorquina, Maria Antònia Munar, se ha negado hoy a declarar ante el juez del "caso Maquillaje", sobre presunta corrupción, acogiéndose a su derecho a comparecer ante el Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Baleares dada su condición de aforada.
Munar ha comparecido por espacio de unos minutos en los juzgados de Vía Alemania de Palma ante el titular del Juzgado de Instrucción 2 de Palma, Juan Ignacio Lope Sola, que investiga este caso de supuestas irregularidades ocurridas durante la legislatura pasada en el Consell de Mallorca, presidido entonces por Munar.
Tal y como ya había comunicado esta mañana el Parlament balear en una nota de prensa, Munar se ha acogido al artículo 44 del Estatuto de Autonomía de Baleares, que establece su condición de aforada, y se ha negado asimismo a declarar ante los medios de comunicación ni antes ni después de su comparecencia.
"Todas estas decisiones están tomadas con el máximo respeto y comprensión a la autoridad judicial y el trabajo que realizan todos los jueces y fiscales", concluye el comunicado de la Cámara balear.
