Toni Elías, quien ya se encuentra en Japón para disputar este fin de semana el gran premio de ese país en el circuito de Motegi, ha asegurado que le encanta esa pista, que tiene un recorrido con "fuertes frenadas".
"Motegi es un circuito que me gusta mucho y correr aquí para HRC me da una motivación especial para hacer bien nuestro trabajo ya que, además, el circuito tiene muchas zonas de fuertes frenadas y eso es algo que se adapta muy bien a mi forma de pilotaje", afirma Toni Elías, piloto de la escudería San Carlo Gresini.
"Tenemos que ser realistas y tener los pues en el suelo en lo que a nuestras expectativas se refiere, tal y como están las cosas ahora mismo, pero afortunadamente hemos recibido una serie de ayudas que nos pueden venir muy bien para mejorar nuestro rendimiento en este circuito con respecto a Qatar", explicó Elías.
"De todas maneras, aunque soy un piloto de fuertes frenadas, ese es uno de los problemas que por ahora tenemos, por lo que será fundamental determinar exactamente porqué tenemos ese problema e intentar solucionarlo ya que la frenada es un arma que necesitamos aquí", asegura en el comunicado de su equipo Toni Elías.
