La compañía Española del Zinc solicitó el lunes al regulador bursátil la suspensión de la cotización de sus acciones por hasta seis meses.
"Les solicitamos la suspensión de la cotización de Española del Zinc SA en los mercados en los que se encuentre cotizando por un periodo máximo de seis meses", dijo el grupo en un comunicado a la CNMV.
El grupo, cuyo consejo tomó esta decisión por unanimidad el pasado 22 de enero, añadió que también ha aceptado la dimisión del consejero delegado de la sociedad, Manuel Jesús Pérez Pérez, después de que el grupo anunciase la extinción de los contratos de sus 239 empleados en un contexto en el que se paralizó el proceso para trasladar la actividad de la metalúrgica a unas nuevas instalaciones.
