Otto de Habsburgo, primogénito del último emperador de Austria, se encuentra hospitalizado en una clínica de Múnich tras caerse por las escaleras de su residencia privada en la localidad bávara de Pöcking, al sur de Alemania.
El rotativo "Bild" informa hoy de que el anciano de 96 años de edad se recupera favorablemente de un fuerte golpe en la cabeza, que se produjo al parecer el pasado fin de semana, y que podría ser dado de alta próximamente.
Un portavoz familiar comenta en el rotativo que el heredero del trono Austro-húngaro "se encuentra ya bastante bien", recibe con normalidad las visitas de sus allegados y muestra buen apetito.
Otto de Habsburgo fue durante 20 años diputado en el Parlamento europeo por la unión Socialcristiana (CSU) de Baviera, cargo desde el que lucho por superar la división europea y el acercamiento entre el Este y el Oeste.
