A penas unas horas después de que los secretarios judiciales y la Policía Nacional abandonaran la sede madrileña del Partido Popular de la calle Génova para sacar la documentación relacionada con las obras de dicho edificio y con la caja B de Luis Bácenas, Mariano Rajoy ha asegurado en rueda de prensa que están "tranquilos".
El presidente afirma que "no se ha ordenado un registro", sino que "lo que se ha pedido es colaboración" y "se le ha dado". "Mis instrucciones siempre serán colaboración con la Administración de Justicia", ha enfatizado en su comparecencia ante los periodistas al término del último Consejo Europeo del año que se ha celebrado en Bruselas.
"Pleno respeto a las decisiones de la Justicia, esperamos sus resoluciones y estamos tranquilos", ha respondido el jefe del Ejecutivo cuando se le ha preguntado si está preocupado por ese registro.
El secretario judicial del Juzgado Central de Instrucción número 5 y dos miembros de la Unidad de Delincuencia Económica y Fiscal (UDEF), uno de ellos experto en informática, se personaron en la sede de los conservadores pasadas las 20.30 horas para obtener facturas sobre las obras de reforma que realizó entre 2005 y 2011, que fueron solicitadas por el juez y no se aportaron a la causa. El juez sospecha que una parte, en concreto 888.000 euros, podrían haberse pagado con dinero negro.
La comisión judicial ha permanecido en la sede central conservadora durante más de 14 horas. Fuentes cercanas a la investigación aseguran que los agentes han escaneado documentación y accedido a varios ordenadores situados en la planta sexta del edificio, donde se encuentran los departamentos de gerencia, tesorería e informática.
