Se esperaba que el Parlamento alemán aprobara el segundo rescate a Grecia. Lo que no se esperaba es que lo hiciera con una mayoría tan amplia. Más allá de impulso a las ayudas griegas que supone, la votación también ha servido para despejar dudas sobre el liderazgo de Angela Merkel, lo que puede ser muy importante de cara a las nuevas medidas a tomar para solucionar la crisis. Por eso, los índices bursátiles se animaron tanto nada más conocerse la noticia y decidieron hacer caso omiso a una preocupante subasta de deuda en Italia, en la que el Tesoro transalpino se vio obligado a subir la rentabilidad de su deuda a diez años hasta el 5,8%, la más alta de toda su historia. A pesar de ello, la Bolsa italiana fue la más alcista de todo el viejo continente, al ganar un 2,07%. El Ibex 35 español subió un 1,32%, hasta los 8.592 puntos. El resto de índices europeos también cerraron con ganancias superiores al 1%.
'La situación del país heleno se ha complicado tanto que ahora mismo en los mercados no cabe la posibilidad de que, estando ya en el borde del precipicio, las autoridades europeas no muevan ficha', asegura Soledad Pellón, estratega de IG Markets.
Mucho más potentes fueron las subidas en Wall Street, que superaron el 1,30%. Allí, a las buenas vibraciones procedentes de Europa, se unió la buena noticia de que la economía estadounidense creció en el segundo trimestre algo más de lo esperado, gracias al gasto de los consumidores y al crecimiento de las exportaciones. El PIB del segundo trimestre repuntó un 1,3%, frente al 1,0% de estimación preliminar y el 1,2% esperado por el consenso de los analistas.
