Los golfistas que padecen deapnea obstructiva del sueño pueden mejorar su hándicap sitratan ese trastorno respiratorio nocturno, reveló un estudiopresentado en la reunión CHEST 2009, en San Diego, California.
Después de dos meses de uso de un dispositivo nocturno queemite presión nasal positiva (NPAP, por sus siglas en inglés),que es un tratamiento efectivo para controlar la apnea delsueño, una docena de golfistas observó cómo su hándicappromedio disminuyó significativamente de 12,4 a 11.
